Further development of ITSM service reporting and definition of corresponding KPIs. Planning and further development of the Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure, especially with regard to high availability, performance and operational integration. Switching the MS SQL and Sharepoint Services backup processes to Veeam Agent Backup. 2020-2022 Police authority at state level (anonymized), in cooperation with Computer Futures & Sepago GmbH: definition and introduction of ITSM processes for an isolated high-security environment, selection and evaluation of various ITSM tools and coordination of the implementation according to ITIL 4, starting with the PoC through the piloting to production. The tasks also included developing and performing monthly service level reporting. In addition, the operating team received conceptual and practical support in the ActiveDirectory and MS SQL Server environments. 2019-2020 Veoneer, Munich (automotive electronics & software), in cooperation with Etengo & Gulp: Project management of the international migration from Microsoft Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams. The scope included the cloud-based services within MS Office 365 as well as connected locations with local hardware for voice telephony. In addition to managing the team and calculating project costs, coordination with the legal department and the works council on data protection aspects, including negotiating the approvals of critical features was also part of the task. 2019-2020 Veoneer, Munich (automotive electronics & software), in cooperation with Etengo & Gulp: True-Up of Microsoft licenses used in the company and support of the customer license team preparing a new Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. In addition, the creation of migration- and license databases and the programming of scripts under Powershell and MS SQL for data collection and consolidation were part of the task (MS SCCM, Active Directory and others). 2018-2019 Veoneer, Munich (automotive electronics & software), in cooperation with Etengo & Gulp: Business analyst, technical coordinator and interim project manager for the conception and implementation of the technical split after the company spin-off regarding the migration of approx. 2000 production systems, especially production-critical MS Windows based MES control systems. The activities of the international locations in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia had to be synchronized with each other and downtimes had to be kept short. The use cases of the production sites had to be converted into technical solutions within the target environment. 2016-2017 JAKALE Film GmbH & Co. KG, Kassel, development and implementation of storage solutions for storing and securing cinema movies, including developing a security concept for camera date in compliance with processes and policies for data storage demanded by film insurance companies for this industry. In addition, a concept for restructuring the internal IT was developed, which combines the technologies Microsoft O365, FreeNAS and Avid Nexis Server within the framework of the required workflows and access requirements (role model). 2007-2016 Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt a.M., in cooperation with Hewlett Packard GmbH, Wolter Consulting GmbH and NET.Office GmbH: Conception of transforming the global fileservices of all Commerzbank AG offices in the course of outsourcing to Hewlett-Packard as IT Architect and Project Manager in the first project phase. The main task was to conceptualize and manage all the intra-bank and external groups involved in the transformation as well as the coordination of gateways between those sectors (e.g. Fileservice HP with encryption Commerzbank). A special challenge presented itself in the technical integration of Dresdner Bank which was bought by the Commerzbank in 2009. Main components of the technical solution included Active Directory, Citrix, Group Policies, NetApp Filer, HP Eva Storage, DNS, DHCP, IPAM with Infoblox Appliances. in cooperation with NET.Office GmbH: Project planning und -coordination for a global Active Directory-Rollout which was the basis for the introduction of Exchange 2003. 2006-2007 LGN Niedersachsen, Hannover, project planning and steering of the state-wide migration of the agency for topographical survey and geo basis information for the federal state of Lower Saxony as preparation to integrate it into the central Exchange 2003 environment of the national Active “ads.niedersachsen.de“. The project’s main goal was the migration of the LGN-NT4-domain and further 53 NT-domains of Lower Saxony’s land registry office into the GLL-domains of the nationwide network. Therefore the necessary processes had to be defined first. A main part in this course was the introduction of new fileservices via DFS and a new role concept, including the planning of a suitable OU-structure and the design of group policies. 2005 City of Frankfurt / Main, in cooperation with Microsoft Services Germany: responsible for the migration and consolidation of application- and function-servers and corresponding apps for more than 400 users in 80 office locations. 1999-2002 Regional Association of Bavarian Retailers LBE (now Handelsverband Bayern e.V. HBE), subcontracted by NET.Office GmbH Kassel, a complete member management program including contribution management, accounting and dunning was developed in Microsoft Visual Studio with an underlying MS SQL Server infrastructure. The front end was mainly developed in Visual Studio. The logic, data processing and data replication were developed entirely in Transact-SQL.
